Handwoven Blanket Vest With Rug Hooked Tulips & Nylon Stockings To Finish
This is for a piece of fabric-the tag says "Handwoven Blanket Vest" With Rug Hooked Tulips & Nylon Stockings To Finish. Background fabric is grey wool with a weave about 9 stitches to the inch-it is very uniform, has been machine stitched on the edges & measures approx 33 x 26.5 inches/84x67 cm. The tulip design that is hooked measures approx 15x15.5 inches/38x39.5cm and makes a very dense/heavy fabric. The hooking is done with regular nylon-type stockings & there is enough to do another tulip (there is a little bit of orange, purple, yellow & 3 greens) & background black (6 partial stocking pieces). There is no pattern or markings on the fabric so not sure how this would be made into a vest-perhaps it's the back but it would be nice as a picture. Fabric does collect pilling, there is one strand pulled out a bit at the back & the hooked tulip parts have a little discoloration from rubbing against other colors in storage. Does not come with a hook.

I classify condition based on how the item looks. If it is brand new- it has no markings but may have a price sticker- there may be some very light storage or store handling-usually these items come directly from my wholesale sources. Like new means it is almost in brand new condition but has been previously owned and lightly used. Very good has been lightly used and may have a little bit of damage and/or markings and sometimes the covers get most of the hits while the inside is much better quality. Good means that it has been used and there is some damage and/or markings. Acceptable means that it has been heavily used and I usually only list this quality if it's a rare or hard to find item.  PLEASE NOTE- an old price on an item does not dictate the current price, something that cost .00 in 1970 may be much more valuable in today's market due to rarity, if it is out of print, availability and if it is vintage or a limited edition.
All my items come from a non-smoking home- I do purchase from various sources and if I notice a smoky smell I will note it in the listing.
