Beautiful heart made from  Peruvian leopard skin jasper ( brecciated jasper).
The heart has an interesting fluorescence under both  long wave UV light ( See photos 8 - 9  ) and  under short wave (photos 10 - 12 ). The specimen retains a bright phosphorescence upon withdrawal of the short wave lamp( Please see photo 12 ).
This is also an appealing daylight specimen (  photos 1 - 8 ).
Long wave photos Way Too Cool UV 36 watt long wave lamp , short wave with Super Bright lamp.  All photos taken using my iPhone :-)
Please note special UV lamps mandatory to visualize fluorescence.
