VINTAGE 1960 PLAY-DOH TOY MODELING CLAY TIN CAN 3 LB CANISTER EXCELLENT

Description

This is a vintage EMPTY can, or canister, made of tin. It is a fairly large can, that originally held three pounds of "Play-Doh" clay. It measures just under 6 inches tall, and is 4 & 3/4 inches wide, at the base. It reads (in part): "Play-Doh Modeling Compound...3 Full Pounds / 48 Ozs...Copyright RAINBOW CRAFTS, INC. 1960." The can has colorful graphics showing kids having fun with Play-Doh. The condition is EXCELLENT. There are a couple of small "dings" and rust specks on the edges of the lid - nothing too serious. Just a hint of rust on the interior. The colors are bright and the can displays beautifully. This would be great to store arts & crafts supplies, loose change, jewelry, trinkets - whatever. It is guaranteed to be old & original - made approximately 60 years ago - or your money back.
